The San Jacinto County Historical Commission is the county agency for historic preservation. We save the real places that tell the real stories of San Jacinto County.

Our staff consults with citizens and organizations to preserve San Jacinto County history through its architectural, archeological, and cultural landmarks. The Commission is recognized state wide for its preservation programs.

To protect and preserve the county’s historic and prehistoric resources for the use, education, enjoyment, and economic benefit of present and future generations.
